Our comprehensive guide to vegan and plant-based documentaries is not available on the site. These documentaries cover a variety of subjects related to going vegan, from the health benefits to animal welfare and the climate. Check out our frequently updated resource guide.

A comprehensive guide to vegan and plant-based documentaries is now available here at Plant Based Recipe. Watching documentaries about a plant-based diet was the sole reason I went from eating “mostly” plant-based to entirely plant based. You can find the vegan documentary list here:

Vegan Documentaries

Learn about the plant-based diet and vegan-friendly living in these excellent documentaries. They outline benefits to your health, the environment, and how to live a cruelty-free life. Also contains listings for documentaries about GMOs and sugar consumption, and other related health topics.

About the guide

The documentaries listed in this resource cover a variety of subjects, including the health advantages of eating a whole food plant-based diet, how changing our diet affects the environment, and compassionate reasons to go vegan. I also added sections for related topics, such as documentaries that cover sugar consumption and GMOs.

The documentaries are ordered alphabetically by topic, and include embedded videos (if available) or the trailer, and links to where you can watch it on Netflix or find a download.

This guide to vegan documentaries will be updated over time, so be sure to add it to your bookmarks and share it with people who will benefit from finding this resource!
