Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender (see notes if you're using a low powered blender or food processor). Blend it until creamy, and add additional hot sauce to taste.
Notes
You can substitute the cashews for sunflower seeds - it's slightly less creamy, but still a good texture and tastes roughly the same. The hot sauce will drastically change the taste and the spiciness. The value provided here is approximate for using Franks Red Hot Sauce, which is not terribly spicy. If you are using a very spicy hot sauce, start with a couple tablespoons and add as necessary.You can substitute fresh spices instead of powdered spices. Add to taste.
