Instructions
Scrub your potatoes.
Add the steamer basket or trivet to the bottom of the Instant Pot, and put your washed potatoes on top.
Add 1 - 2 cups of water (if you are using a trivet, this might just about touch the bottom of your trivet). You need enough to steam the potatoes.
Set the Instant Pot to Manual (Pressure Cook on other machines), and cook for between 12 and 15 minutes. Then use natural pressure release. When the valve pops up, your potatoes are ready.

Notes
This recipe is the timing for medium to large potatoes. For smaller potatoes you might be able to cook at manual for 10-12 minutes or so. The length of time also depends on how well cooked you prefer your potatoes. I like mine super light and fluffy, as you can see by the photos. If you like yours a bit more firm, then reduce the cooking time by a few minutes and try that out. You can also use the steam setting, which is a bit hotter. You could reduce the cooking time, but make sure the potatoes do not touch the bottom of the pot and you include enough water.
