Land of Hope and Glory – Documentary
Described as the “UK Earthlings” documentary (released in 2005, and described in our documentary guide here), this film from the founders of Website is a recent look into the animal livestock industry in the UK. Those living in the UK often think that the Earthlings documentary does not apply to their nation, and the filmmakers want to address that sentiment. This documentary exposes the truth of the UK land animal farming practices by investigating what happens behind the scenes, and shares undercover footage captured at about 100 facilities throughout the UK.
